Diane Miessler is a certified permaculture designer, a soil science enthusiast, and a gardener with more than 50 years of experience. She has a monthly column in The Union, a newspaper that serves Nevada County, California.

Diane enjoys music as well, and is the part of a Nevada County local band called Purdon's Crossing.
